The Return of an Old Soul

 So it has been a while since I've been on here. A lot of things have happened since my last post. My heart has been weighed down for a time. The loss of my Father, contracting COVID-19 four times. I was in and out of the hospital for a few years due to COVID-19 and the lasting effects of it. So I basically am housebound. Not being able to work is tough. More emotionally than anything else. I was blessed with many talents and skills growing up on a large farm and school and regular work experience. So it's difficult not being able to do what I did my whole life. Blessing and helping others. Work gave me purpose. 

So learning how to do things differently is somewhat of a challenge. Learning to learn again in a different way. But I'm always up for a challenge. Challenges cause me to go beyond myself and be more pliable. However, at the same time, fear pops its head up and tries to get me to not venture out into the unknown. But my drive for challenges overcomes fear and allows me to move forward. My faith carries me to the unknown and propels me into my destiny. 

We never fully know how or what life throws at us. That's what keeps it from being boring or monotonous. Without risk, there is no future or life. Risk is always at our door. Getting into a car and driving, etc. Life is full of risks. 

I think about those who came before us and what they went through to give us the necessities we have to move forward in the future. We are no different than they are. They just came before us and prepared the way. We in turn do the same thing for those who come after us. Their faith carried them. And so here we are today looking into the future. However, we are not promised tomorrow. We only have today and it holds plenty in it for us to deal with. We do not know what tomorrow brings because it is not here yet. So our focus is on what we are able to do today.

Love gives us purpose in what we are faced with today. If we look at it negatively then we will only see negative. But if we look at it positively then we will see all the possibilities it brings. And then we can move into those possibilities and be successful in them. We may have difficulty with them but if we persist and do not give up. We will be successful in all that we put ourselves to. We have to believe in ourselves and be confident in what we set out to do. Success does not come without struggles and neither does life. But it's us pushing through them that gives us success and an abundant life. 

Jesus told us if we just believe and not doubt and trust in what we say or do, we will have it. Jesus made the way for us and also redeemed us from a life of bondage and self-infliction. When faith steps in it overpowers and overcomes all obstacles that try to keep us in bondage. Drugs, porn, alcohol and etc are the keepers of bondage and will destroy and kill us and families also. Everything we do or say or do not do or say affects everyone. We need to be aware of this. Let Jesus reign and rule in your life to give you the life you deserve. 

What Jesus does is give us a free gift of salvation for a perfect future and life forever with Him. All you have to do is ask Him and let Him take over your life. He created you, who better to know what you need.

God's word is never to give up and have faith. All will be well.

The old soul is one who has overcome and lives in eternity.
